The past couple of months at Ozark Nursing and Rehab in Ozark, Arkansas, have been nothing short of delightful. Our community has been buzzing with activities that have brought joy and smiles to our elders and staff alike.
For National Pet Day, we hosted a heartwarming pet social. Shelby Lenea Godfrey brought her adorable mini cows, and our staff members brought their own pets too. Our elders absolutely loved holding and cuddling with all the animals, creating precious moments of connection and happiness.
With the arrival of warmer weather, our elders have embraced the outdoors and started gardening. A big thank you goes out to our maintenance team for building beautiful raised flower beds for us to plant in. We have dedicated one flower bed for vibrant flowers and the other for fresh vegetables, allowing our elders to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
At Ozark Nursing and Rehab, we believe in creating an environment where fun and engagement are part of everyday life. These activities not only bring joy but also foster a sense of community and well-being among our elders.
